- BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited) is involved in the construction of the Yelahanka Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) in Yelahanka, on the outskirts of Bangalore. The project involves a 370-MW gas power plant, which is Karnataka's first gas-based utility power project according to Projects Today.
